Check In/Check Out Times
Standard check-in time is between 3 pm until 7 pm after which time please contact the Innkeeper for instructions regarding our late check-in procedure. Your guest room could be available earlier should it not have been occupied the night before. If this is not the case though, we can store your bags while you relax in our living room or gardens or begin your exploration of Santa Barbara.
Standard check-out time is at 11 am after which we will be happy to store your bags until your departure home.
Children & Infants
Children and infants are welcome in our Cottages and Coach House. There will be an additional charge of $30.00 for children over 5 years of age.
Smoking, Candles and Incense
The Cheshire Cat Inn is a nonsmoking establishment inside and on our patio, however smoking is permitted in our garden area. Due to our insurance regulation and for the safety of all guests as well as to prevent odors from building up in guestrooms, we regret that we cannot permit guests to burn flame candles or incense of any kind.
Deposit and Cancellations
A deposit of one night’s accommodation including tax is required for all reservations. All balances are due at time of check-out. Reservations for only one or two rooms there will be a full refund of the deposit if cancelled within seven or more days in advance. For cancellations within 7 days, the deposit will only be refunded if we resell the room. Deposits and cancellations for 3 or more rooms will vary. Please call the Inn for details.
Dietary Restrictions and Allergies
If you have any dietary restrictions that you would like us to know about, please feel free to call or email us. We will make every effort to try and accommodate your dietary requirements.
Pets
Pets are not allowed at our Santa Barbara bed and breakfast.
